Czech or Fire-Polished glass beads come from the Czech Republic and are available in many shapes and standard colours and surface treatments (including transparent, matte and iridized). Facetted glass beads with edges softened (polished) in flame, they provide the sparkle of cut glass/stone at a much cheaper price than Austrian crystal and higher-end facetted stone, Fire-Polished glass beads can be used for stringing or other beadwork applications where colour and sparkle are desired.
